About Crystal Clear Wing Over Synchro Dragon (Supreme Darkness SUDA-JP039)

The name of the monster depicted on the card is a reference to Yu-Gi-Oh 5D’s—specifically, the anime-only process of Limit Over Accel Synchro Summoning. Doing so requires the use of a Tuner Synchro Monster and multiple non-Tuner Synchro Monsters. The card’s Summoning requirements which mention two different Tuner monster requirements as Synchro materials, meanwhile, reference how it was Summoned by Yusei Fudo and Jack Atlas in Yu-Gi-Oh 5D’s.

This card which has a Quarter Century Secret Rare version holds a unique position as the only Synchro monster to specify two different Tuner monster requirements as Synchro materials. Finally, the card’s Summoning condition is a shout-out to Yu-Gi-Oh ARC-V. It alludes to Yugo’s dream to defeat Jack Atlas (an alternate-universe version of the Jack Atlas from 5D’s) in a Turbo Duel.
