Vans Surf and Former, an independently-owned and operated brand, reunite once more since their maiden outing in 2019, pushing their “shared ethos of raw, unapologetic authenticity and progressive design” to the forefront. This collection ups the ante on “Off The Wall” creativity, on terra firma or the water.

The trinity of footwear in the pack is anchored by rich leather and suede, with embossed detailing and patches that are unapologetically Former. Black, green, and cream runs through them, as they do on the accompanying apparel.

Probably their answer to GORE-TEX, the Destruct Mid MTE-1 and the Vans Mid Slip MTE-1 are both equipped with moisture management, thermoregulation, and traction; courtesy of the MTE-1 Primaloft™ Cold Weather Thermal Package, keeping feet warm during cold spells and post-surf.

The Vans Surf Boot Hi Split Toe 3MM gets you ready for the oncoming swell as well. Micro-waffle grip ensure you stay on deck with the split-toe constrction providing dexterity, and the dual-rubber make-up providing warmth without compromising flexibility. As a finishing touch, the gusseted top features Former graphics just right above the pull tab.

Founded by professional surfers Dane Reynolds and Craig Anderson, and pro skaters Austyn Gillette and Dylan Rieder. Their modus operandi is simple: “just good, quality design.”
