No snakes in the grass, it's just the Nike Terminator High in its new colorway.

[Update 21 Nov] Much like the T-800, the Terminator is in the midst of a long-awaited comeback. For those eyeing this serpentine pair, the Ouroboros has let go of its tail. An end is in sight. A release date has been scheduled for 3 December and will be available on Nike SNKRS with a price tag of US$125.

Like its fellow Terminator said before: “I’ll be back.” And so it seems it will. Its comeback season is officially underway following up news of the “Georgetown” colorway last week. The silhouette has been in Nike’s catalogue since 1985 and has recently reentered the arena during the COMME des GARÇONS Homme Plus’ Spring/Summer 2023 showroom. Today, it wears the same skin as its Nike Air Force 1 Low counterpart released in 2018.

The serpentine motif runs through the toe cap, eye stays, and heel counter while maintaining the pair’s classic color blocking. The branding elements are all outfitted in black from the Swoosh, the Futura logo on the tongue, and the bold typography on the heel. Last but not least, the sail midsole gives nod to the sneaker’s decades-long heritage by giving it an aged look.

There’s no telling when the Cocoa Snake will slither in or what the exact price tag is but if we were to roll the dice, it should be within the year and at US$120. Keep those snake eyes locked here for more updates!

Check out the aforementioned Nike Terminator High “Georgetown”, if a simpler colorway is more to your liking.
