Not many TCG sets have two of their most expensive cards being different cards that nonetheless depict the same character. Yet, this is exactly the case in the recently-released ONE PIECE Card Game set Two Legends [OP-08]. While this version of Charlotte Pudding doesn’t quite stack up to the other one price-wise, it’s nevertheless still one of the set’s most coveted cards.

This card’s Parallel Art illustration depicts a scene from the manga. To spare her brother Perospero from potentially being killed by their mother Linlin, Pudding had to prepare a cake to replace one which had previously been destroyed as the first step of the plan. The darker color tones used in the illustration capture the intensity and urgency of that sequence.

The usual “female character boost” once again comes into play. The illustration also plays to this angle, emphasizing both Pudding’s chest and facial expression. While her wide-eyed, flustered look isn’t inherently meant to seem “that way”, one can tell that it was put there to appeal to certain fans as well.

This card’s English release date hasn’t yet been confirmed.
