Balenciaga’s sneaker lineup over the past year has been remarkable. Following the launch of the Cargo Sneaker for their Summer 2024 collection and the 10XL for Fall 2024, the luxury house now unveils its latest addition for the upcoming Spring 2025 collection: the Platform Sneaker.

This latest footwear model builds upon Demna’s signature “ugly” aesthetic, boasting a distressed finish across its multi-layered panels, offered in black, white, red, and grey tones. True to its name, the pair showcases a towering 16cm platform sole unit, accentuated by its oversized rounded shape, evoking the spirit of the Bouncer and 10XL series.

While additional details about the Balenciaga Platform Sneaker are yet to be revealed, enthusiasts can look forward to on-feet previews during the Balenciaga Spring 2025 runway show, set for 30 May at 7:30PM (CST) in Shanghai, China.

Release specifics will then be announced alongside the launch of the main collection by the luxury house. Stay tuned for further updates.
