[Update 16 Jul 2024] Following their initial releases, the MM6 Maison Margiela x Salomon XT-4 Mule and X-ALP are set to launch in Japan on 22 July via Salomon Japan’s official website. It will be available on a raffle draw basis and entries can be made until 24 July, 11:59PM (JST), with winners announced from 29 July onwards.

[Update 26 Jun 2024] Official images of the MM6 Maison Margiela XT-4 Mules are here. They come in three distinct colorways and are slated to arrive on 25 June. Find the Mules via the SNKRDUNK App after their official release on MM6 Maison Margiela and Salomon brick-and-click stores and select retailers.

[Update 4 Jun 2024] Two silhouettes from the MM6 Maison Margiela x Salomon SS24 collection just got their release date! The MM6 Maison Margiela x Salomon X-ALP in “Black/Black/Black” and “Vanilla Ice/Black/Almond Milk” colorways drop on 6 June at Salomon and MM6 Maison Margiela webstores.

[Update 24 May 2024] Great news! The first wave of MM6 Maison Margiela x Salomon SS24 releases has now arrived at select global retailers, including The Apartment. This release features the XT-4 Mule in “Black” and two colorways of the X-ALP.

Retail prices are set at 350 EUR (~US$379) for the XT-4 Mule and 320 EUR (~US$345) for the X-ALP.

Although we’ve already been introduced to a lineup of collaborative models for SS23 and AW23, it seems like there is more to expect from MM6 Maison Margiela and Salomon as the former has revealed a new set of footwear silhouettes in their 2024 Resort Collection lookbook.

Among the minimalistic shots, a pair of slip-ons caught the attention of many, which was revealed to be a mule rendition of the Salomon XT-4. While constructive details stay true to its OG form, MM6 decided to go bold on colors, opting for distinctive variations including “Beige/Blue” and “White/Green/Purple” with an added branding profile on the toe cap.

Besides the XT-4 Mule, @thebusinessfashion has revealed additional offerings with the Salomon X-DESALPES. Taking on “Cream/Black” and “Black” color schemes, the pairs features MM6’s branding on the tongue labels.

No release details have been disclosed by either labels yet, but we can expect the MM6 Maison Margiela x Salomon XT-4 Mule and X-DESALPES to arrive as part of the SS24 drop. Until then, we will keep you updated here.
