The Nike Kobe 8 Protro “Orange/White” Joins the 2024 Roster
The silhouette has been making a splash as of late.
The Nike Kobe 8 Protro has been on a streak lately. The 2024 roster includes iterations of the silhouette in “Champagne Gold”, “Grey/Black”, and “Hollywood Nights”, and next year’s line-up is looking promising as well, with the “Eggplant” and “University Red” colorways slated for release.
Now, another pair is joining the class of 2024; a fresh take dressed in a striking “Orange/White” color scheme. This vibrant combination pays tribute to the WNBA’s energetic colors, reflecting Kobe Bryant’s well-known advocacy for women’s basketball. It’s a celebration of Kobe’s enduring legacy and his dedication to inclusivity within the sport.
The shoe features a breathable, bright Orange engineered mesh upper that extends smoothly onto the tongues, mudguards, and TPU heel counter. This bold color contrasts beautifully with crisp White accents on the Swoosh logos, Kobe’s signature emblem on the tongues, and his autograph on the outer heels, elevating visual appeal.
A tough rubber outsole completes the design for lasting performance and traction on the hardwood.
The Nike Kobe 8 Protro “Orange/White” is expected to launch this Fall at select Nike Basketball retailers, in-store and online, including Nike.com. It will retail for US$190.
