The Nike Kobe 5 Protro returns in stunning “University Red”. The pair joins the silhouette’s Spring 2025 lineup that currently includes its counterparts in “Sail” and “Eggplant”.

The shoe’s upper utilizes a mix of textures and materials for both aesthetic appeal and functionality. Luxurious Black faux snakeskin covers the mudguard, while vibrant University Red crinkled leather adorns the toe and midfoot. Metallic Gold accents add a touch of class to the Nike Swoosh and Kobe tongue logos, adding a nice contrast.

The shoe is finished with a Black foam midsole and a rubber outsole in University Red and Black for performance on the hardwood.

The Nike Kobe 5 Protro “University Red” is slated for a Spring 2025 launch at Nike brick-and-click stores. It will arrive in men’s and grade school sizes, with an RRP of US$190 and US$120 respectively.
