When Infinite Forbidden, the latest Yu-Gi-Oh TCG Core Booster was released, there was never really a question about which card would end up being the most coveted and expensive. To absolutely nobody’s surprise, Dragon of Pride and Soul ended up topping the chart by an enormous margin.

A card specifically created to commemorate the 25th anniversary of the Yu-Gi-Oh TCG, Dragon of Pride and Soul only exists in a Quarter Century Secret Rare form. It’s also for that reason that the card’s effects are themed around the number 25.

This card is a counterpart of Magicians of Bonds and Unity, another card created to honor the Yu-Gi-Oh TCG’s 25th anniversary. Four iterations of that card exist; however, the version of Dragon of Pride and Soul found in Infinite Forbidden is the first one released thus far.

Since this card is the counterpart of Magicians of Bonds and Unity, there will likely be Quarter Century Secret Rare versions of Dragon of Pride and Soul in future Core Boosters as well.

This card will be released in English when Infinite Forbidden releases internationally on 18 July 2024.

A Dragon of Pride and Soul (Infinite Forbidden INFO-JP000) card has a sale price of 64,000 JPY (~US$411).
