Whenever a card initially issued as a tournament prize hits the open market, there’s sure to be a flood of demand. This is once again the case with this Secret Rare (SR) version of the Perona card from the Wings of the Captain [OP-06] booster pack.

This card was first distributed as a prize for those who finished in the top 8 of selected Flagship Battle ONE PIECE Card Game tournaments across Japan. Owing to its exclusivity, demand for the card soared almost as soon as it made its way to the open market.

The card depicts Perona using the power she was granted by the Hollow-Hollow Fruit: the ability to create and control ghosts. The SR version differs from the ordinary version by depicting a slew of ghosts rather than just one, further emphasizing Perona’s title of the “Ghost Princess”.

The glossy holofoil gives the card a premium look apt for one awarded as a tournament prize. Its effect is further brought out by the multicolored background.

This card has already been released in English.

According to current prices, a Perona SR (Wings of the Captain [OP06-093]) card sells for ¥27,500 (~US$105).
