[Update 8 Mar 2024] More release details have been confirmed for the fragment design x Cole Haan loafer collection! The pairs will drop in-stores today, 8 March, through selected Japanese retailers including Dover Street Market Ginza, BEAMS, and others. [Update 6 Mar 2024] New images of the second Penny Loafer and the Tassel Loafer have now emerged! In contrast to the initially revealed pair, the second Penny Loafer features a white toebox. On the other hand, the Tassel Loafer showcases half black and white panels on the uppers. Check them out in the gallery above as we anticipate the official launch on 8 March.

Hiroshi Fujiwara, the godfather of streetwear, keeps the momentum going with his collaborative releases under his fragment design label with the introduction of another upcoming partnership with American footwear brand Cole Haan.

The duo is set to present an array of penny and tassel loafers, integrating signature elements from each brand. While details about the tassel loafers remain under wraps, images of the penny loafers reveal a minimal design approach with FRGMT branding under the penny slot, debossed lightning logo at the rear, and a technical code on the midsole panel. Last but not least, debossed co-branding on the insoles round off the design.

The fragment design x Cole Haan Loafer collection is slated to drop on 8 March, 10:30AM (JST) in-store at the Hankyu Men’s Osaka department store in Japan. The pairs will be available on a raffle basis and will retail for 41,800 JPY (~US$278).
