The Nike Air Max 90 LV8 “Infrared” Is Nike’s Own Infrared Vision
Changes from the original include the now-black Air cassettes and an elevated platform.
The iconic Air Max 90 just received a fresh take: the Nike Air Max 90 LV8 “Infrared”. Blending signature Nike elements of the past and present, the “Infrared” utilizes a modern platform design to provide both aesthetic and functional benefits.
The “Infrared” boasts a color palette similar to the original’s. The shade of red that envelops the shoe is a call-back to the 1990 version. One key difference, however, lies in the Air cassettes which are now black.
The elevated platform also distinguishes this “Infrared” from the original. Adding both dynamism and height to the silhouette, the platform makes this sneaker visually striking and full of modern-day flair.
The Nike Air Max 90 LV8 “Infrared” was launched on 4 February 2024 on Nike.com. Each with a price tag of US$150.
