[Update 3 Apr 2025] Vanessa Bryant has ascertained some of the Nike Kobe releases this year, including the Kobe 6 “Dodgers” the Kobe 4 “CHBL”, and the titular Kobe 9 “Mambacita” (formerly “Gift of Mamba). The announcement comes alongside new images of the aforementioned pairs.

However, the Nike Kobe 9 Low EM “Mambacita” has been confirmed for release on 1 May 2025 with an RRP of US$180. Stay tuned for official images of the pair in the coming weeks!

Since Vanessa Bryant and Nike have come to an agreement, the Kobe line has been rejuvenated with a wave of releases such as the recent Nike Kobe 4 Protro “Gift of Mamba”. Succeeding the aforementioned and a new addition to the series will be the titular Nike Kobe 9 Low EM “Gift of Mamba”, bearing a similar regal Black and Metallic Gold outfit.

The release will serve as the debut of the EM version of the Kobe 9 and its Protro treatment: A monochromatic black design featuring an engineered mesh upper, subtle faux snakeskin detailing for texture, and comfortable React cushioning. Of course, the hallmark Kobe signature shines in metallic gold on the heel.

Akin to its Kobe 4 predecessor, the Nike Kobe 9 Low EM “Gift of Mamba” is also projected for release in December this year. Stay tuned for more images and information in the coming months!
