Following the three-way collaborative GEL-KAYANO 14 between atmos, ASICS, and Undermycar, the two Japanese brands will now reacquaint on the same silhouette in January. Together, they will produce yet another GEL-KAYANO 14, this time taking on a grey-and-purple hue.

Showcased by atmos’ very own Hirofumi Kojima, the new atmos x ASICS GEL-KAYANO 14 is a subtle nod to Tokyo’s bustling nightlife. The concrete jungle is represented through differentiating shades of grey on the sneaker’s mesh uppers, while a striking dash of metallic purple overlays resembles the many neon lights found in the likes of Shinjuku and Shibuya.

Unfortunately for those looking to rep atmos’ namesake, no branding of the boutique can be found on the shoe. That being said, it’s still a really pretty pair that carries a significant inspiration, given that both brands are from Japan as well.

Take an official look at the upcoming atmos x ASICS GEL-KAYANO 14 via the top slider above. It’s slated to drop via atmos on 13 January, although you can raffle for it from 4 January onwards. The retail price is set at US$180.
