From the fictional cereal-inspired MB.02 Low “LaMel-O” to Rick & Morty, LaMelo Ball and PUMA sure love to play on childhood memories. This time around, LaMelo has tapped on Cartoon Network classic Dexter’s Laboratory, taking his new MB.03 on a psychedelic makeover.

This, of course, isn’t the first time Cartoon Network has lent one of its iconic cartoons to a footwear brand. For those unaware, the Powerpuff Girls x Nike SB Dunk Low is soon to drop.

This PUMA MB.03 x Dexter’s Laboratory sneaker looks straight out of one of Dexter’s wild experiments. A psychedelic visual is presented on what is possibly one of the wildest designs PUMA has ever put on a shoe. Multi-colored swirls engulf the MB.03’s upper, supplemented by black and speckled white accents on the midsole. The trippiness is further amplified with another set of black and white hypnotic prints covering the tongue, heel, and scratch motifs on the midfoot.

Dexter’s signature lab instruments are showcased as graphic motifs on the tongue, while on the inside images of both him and his sister, Dee Dee, are also featured. Around the heel, co-branding appears in bright neon to round off the design.
