[Update 29 Nov 2023] Official images of the Powerpuff Girls x Nike SB Dunk Low have surfaced. That being said, the imagery gives us a more detailed look at the highly anticipated sneakers.

The collaboration will receive its own special Nike packaging, along with separate paper inserts depending on which character you get. They also come with their own accompanying set of extra laces based on the girls’ colors.

To make each pair even more unique, the inner tongue tab carries the series’ signature catchphrase, ‘sugar, spice, and everything nice’, with each pillar found on their corresponding shoe (sugar for Bubbles, spice for Buttercup, everything nice for Blossom). All three pairs will also carry different graphic insoles featuring Mojo Jojo.

[Update 21 Nov 2023] With the rumored 14 December drawing closer and closer, we now have more confirmation that all three Powerpuff Girls x Nike SB Dunk Low will drop on the aforementioned date. They will first do so via skateshops, before a wider SNKRS rollout will occur a day later on 15 December. Adults’ sizing will retail at US$135, while PS and TD will retail for US$90 and US$75 respectively. It’s coming soon, folks! Stay tuned for official imagery once we get them.

LINERumors of a Powerpuff Girls x Nike SB Dunk collaboration began circulating in the sneakersphere yesterday. Although neither Nike SB or Cartooon Network has confirmed the project, multiple trusted sneaker sources have posted about the rumored upcoming partnership, with @dadeasskickz stating that the “2023 Nike SB is coming soon”.

The American animated series about three little girls with superpowers, Blossom, Bubbles and Buttercup, first started airing in 1998 and garnered the attention and love of a young global audience far and wide. Powerpuff Girls was subsequently rebooted a few times, including an anime version released in 2006.

The latest whispers of a Powerpuff Girls x Nike SB Dunk collab is not without reason. Cartoon Network has announced that it is working on a reboot of its popular superhero series; another live-action Powerpuff Girls reboot is also reportedly in the works.
