[Update 27 Oct 2023] There isn’t a firm release date yet but the Nike Dunk Low “Ultraman” has been confirmed to arrive in the summer next year. Find them on Nike SNKRS then with an RRP of US$125. In the meantime, have a look at the rest of Nike’s 2024 footwear lineup!
Word from Complex is that Nike will reintroduce the grey and red Nike Dunk Low, informally dubbed “Ultraman”, in their Summer 2024 lineup.
Despite having no official ties to the iconic IP, the pair’s been addressed as such due to its palette being so closely reminiscent of the 1960s superhero. This upcoming iteration will purportedly stay true to form per its original 1999 debut as a part of the Japan-exclusive CO.JP collection.
Much like its namesake, Varsity Red serves as the base layer seen through the toebox, tongues, and collar; while complemented by the Silver overlays and profile Swooshes. A tonal rendering dress the laces and the branding imprint on the tongue tag, as it proliferates on the outsole underfoot.
Considering how far the pair is from its projected release date, there aren’t any product images yet. The photo above depicts the original 1999 version. When D-Day comes however, find them on Nike’s brick-and-click for US$125. Stay tuned for more details in the coming months!
