This iteration of the 576 is one of the exports from New Balance’s MADE in UK division. A division championed for their elevated craftsmanship. As the pair celebrates its 35th anniversary, Steven Smith’s brainchild returns to form in its ’88 construction, materialized in NB’s home in Cumbria, Flimby, UK.
The Toasted Nut pigskin suede overlays work in tandem with the Star White mesh base layer to bring to life the original blueprint from the 1980s. The overlays frame the mesh construction of the vamp, collar, as well as the midfoot “N” on the profiles. The neutral-toned ensemble is complemented by a washed olive, and cream cracked leather heel tabs, and a black rubber outsole.
Find them on New Balance’s webstore from 22 June with an RRP of US$240.
