The New Balance 90/60 is a contemporary interpretation of the time-honored 900 series, which debuted in the 1990s. In the few years since its emergence, it has found its place at the vanguard of the brand’s catalogue, assisted by various collaborators like Joe Freshgoods and most recently, Bricks & Wood.

The upper of the New Balance 9060 combines suede and mesh for a comfortable and breathable fit, upgraded with a REVlite midsole for added support and light cushioning. The “N” logo on the New Balance 9060 is one of its distinctive features, constructed with a reflective finish.

The blue mesh base layer is framed within the Sea Salt suede overlays with the above-mentioned “N” on the profiles given contrast in silver. Light brown takes up real estate at the rear with a tonal transition on the tongue. To end, the sole unit’s color scheme is shared between white, sail, and grey.

They’re scheduled for release in Japan first on 13 April with a wider global release a few months later on 16 July. Find them on New Balance’s brick-and-click and select retailers with a RRP of US$150.

Elsewhere, have a look at the Nike Air Max 1 ’86 “Light Silver”, sharing a similar muted palette.
