1. About New Balance 550

New Balance’s classic models that were so dynamic on basketball courts in the 80s are now gaining popularity in the modern sneaker scene. One of these models, the New Balance BB550, has recently taken the spotlight. The BB550 is a renamed version of the 1989 PRIDE550 that features iconic retro-inspired features such as the “N” logo. Its unique design, rarely found in modern sneakers, is favoured by people of all ages and genders as a point of reference for styling.

Soon, the New Balance BB550 will be available in 2 new vintage colours, “Panda” and “Sea Salt”. The upper is constructed of natural leather with a smooth texture and perforated mudguard. The beige “N” logo is also decorated with leather reminiscent of basketballs, bringing to mind the roots of basketball shoes and using a variance in texture to add depth and crispness to the design. The result is two new designs that, while brand new, can be enjoyed immediately for their distinctive texture.
