MEGA Dream ex – Basic Product Information

The upcoming launch of Pokémon TCG expansion set MEGA Dream ex [M2a] has now been confirmed. It will be launched in Japan on 28 November 2025.

About MEGA Dream ex [M2a]

MEGA Dream ex [M2a] will see the Pokémon TCG debuts of Mega Evolutions which will be introduced to the Pokémon franchise in upcoming spin-off video game Pokémon Legends: Z-A. It will be headlined by a Mega Dragonite ex card.

Instead of the Poké Ball Mirror and Master Ball Mirror cards of certain past sets, MEGA Dream ex [M2a] will include Mega Stone Mirror cards which are so named because they’re mirror holofoil cards featuring a Mega Stone print instead of a Poké Ball or a Master Ball print.

In addition, MEGA Dream ex [M2a] will debut the new rarity of Mega Attack Rare (MA). Each card of the MA rarity features a Full Art illustration of a Mega-Evolved Pokémon with the name of its main attack printed across the card.

Each MEGA Dream ex booster pack will contain 10 cards instead of the usual 5.
