The next Simplified Chinese Pokémon TCG expansion set has now been confirmed to have the name Fiery Black Crystal [CSV5C]; it’s set for launch in China on 12 September 2025.

About Fiery Black Crystal [CSV5C]

Cards in Fiery Black Crystal [CSV5C] will primarily include Simplified Chinese versions of cards from the following sets: Ruler of the Black Flame [SV3], Raging Surf [SV3a], Ancient Roar [SV4K], Future Flash [SV4M], and Shiny Treasure ex [SV4a]. These are the same sets which have the Japanese versions of cards from Bonus Turn [CSV4C], the set immediately preceding Fiery Black Crystal [CSV5C].

The headliners of Fiery Black Crystal [CSV5C] will be a Special Art Rare (SAR) version of the Larry card from Raging Surf [SV3a] and an Ultra Rare (UR) version of the Defiance Band card from Scarlet ex [SV1S]—one of the very few cards which are not Simplified Chinese translations of a card from one of the aforementioned sets. Both will feature an illustration that’s exclusive to the Simplified Chinese version.
