Brain Dead and adidas have already built an impressive collection of collaborative footwear, including the Stan Smith, Forest Hills, and Bowling Shoe. Now, glimpses from a Paris showroom showcasing their Fall/Winter 2025 capsule suggest this partnership is expanding significantly, potentially introducing models like the Barricade 13, Taekwondo, Climacool 2, and the brand-new Brody King.

About the Brain Dead x adidas Fall/Winter 2025 Collection

Despite the seemingly diverse selection of sneakers spanning different eras and purposes, the collection appears unified by Brain Dead’s distinctive design elements. Expect to see vibrant pops of color, such as bright green, yellow, and ultraviolet, contrasting against a foundation of black, silver, and beige. The use of varied textures, like hairy suede juxtaposed with mesh and other synthetic materials, along with metallic finishes and retro-inspired psychedelic graphics, is also prominent.

The Barricade 13, a more recent design known for its performance focus and unique diagonal lacing, receives a Brain Dead makeover in two versions: one featuring metallic silver mesh with yellow and tan highlights, and another in ultraviolet suede.

Continuing their exploration of forward-thinking archival styles, adidas is introducing the Brain Dead Taekwondo, a sleek, laceless sneaker with a flat sole, presented in both metallic silver and black leather options.

The entirely new Brody King seems to draw inspiration from Japanese boxing boots of the 1980s, but it incorporates striking flame overlays reminiscent of Mexican wrestling aesthetics.

Additionally, the adidas Climacool 2 is making a comeback after nearly a decade, featuring a redesigned knit textile upper with small perforations. Brain Dead offers the Climacool 2 in a green, yellow, and silver colorway, as well as a predominantly beige option. A distorted Brain Dead logo is featured on the air cushion of the Climacool tongue, while the Taekwondo tongue displays a “Brain Dead Systems” emblem in a corporate font.
