PUMA has been in a renaissance over the past year and a half. Buoyed by a steady stream of retro relaunches and headline-grabbing collaborations, the German legacy brand has reasserted its presence in the global footwear discourse.

The latest of these partnerships is with Berlin’s VOO Store, a key player in Europe’s streetwear scene. This follows a series of in-store activations that have brought the Big Cat closer to the city’s creative community.

About the VOO Store x PUMA Speedcat

For its freshman effort with PUMA, VOO Store works with the Speedcat Ballet, a contemporary update to the hallmark model. Already recognized for its streamlined profile and modernized lacing, the Ballet offers a leaner shape and an overhauled lacing system.

The Speedcat Ballet arrives dressed in a tonal brown upper, juxtaposed against black laces and outsole. Gold branding details work with a set of customizable satin ribbon laces, motifs from its ballet inspiration.

The VOO Store x PUMA Speedcat Ballet launches exclusively through VOO Store’s brick-and-click on Friday, 9 May. At the time of writing, a wider release on PUMA.com hasn’t been announced. Nevertheless, stay tuned!
