About the Jordan Air Rev

The Jordan Air Rev introduces groundbreaking design and technology never before seen from Nike’s headquarters in Beaverton. Notably, it’s the first Jordan shoe to feature visible Air technology; a dynamic Zoom unit is strategically placed within a pouch on the inner heel to provide targeted pressure, while Formula23 foam cushions the forefoot. This system offers personalized adjustment based on whether the golfer is left-handed or right-handed.

While customizable cushioning isn’t a novel concept for Jordan, with examples like the Air Jordan XXI and the early 2010s Air Jordan 2011 and 2012 showcasing similar personalized fit approaches in performance footwear, the external application of Air is a genuine first. However, the practicality of this cushioning setup may be specific to certain sports.

Dubbed the “Flight Lock” system, Jordan Brand highlights its potential to enhance club-head speed and rotational force as the foot leverages the Zoom Air unit. Furthermore, the Jordan Air Rev eliminates traditional laces, employing a dial on the tongue connected to cables for effortless tightening and loosening—effectively mirroring BOA’s Fit System.

The Jordan Air Rev has surfaced in two colorways for now—White University Blue, and White Metallic Silver.

Release Details
