A frequent addition to Mitsurugi and Ryzeal decks, Infernal Flame Banshee has become a fairly common sight on tables at Yu-Gi-Oh TCG tournaments. This is largely due to the fact that the card pairs well with Pyro monster cards.

About Infernal Flame Banshee (Age of Overlord AGOV-JP043)

Infernal Flame Banshee’s effect allows the player to take a Pyro monster card from the Deck and either add it to the hand or send it to the Graveyard. This effect is often used to bring Nemeses Flag into play by putting it into the player’s hand; Nemeses Flag is subsequently used to bring in the highly powerful Archnemeses Protos.

Interestingly, although this card does depict a female character, it doesn’t experience the value boost which such cards often do. That’s because the card’s rarity is relatively low, coming in at just Rare. Additionally, Infernal Flame Banshee herself—as implied by her name—is shown coated in flames, thus obscuring much of her body and blunting her demographical appeal to an extent.
