[Yu-Gi-Oh TCG] Clockwork Knight (Supreme Darkness SUDA-JP050) [Release Date/Price/Where To Buy]
Though not actually a part of Nezbitt's deck from the anime, this card's allusions to it are unmistakable.
In the Yu-Gi-Oh anime, Robotic Knight served as Nezbitt’s Deck Master during the Virtual World arc. Likely as a shout-out to that arc and the deck in question, Konami released the Clockwork Knight card as part of the recently-released Yu-Gi-Oh TCG set Supreme Darkness.
About Clockwork Knight (Supreme Darkness SUDA-JP050)
The design of the character depicted on this card is based on that of Robotic Knight. Additionally, its name is a pun on that of Clockwork Night; this card also has an effect that supports the similarly-named card from Animation Chronicle 2022. Tying both points together is the fact that in the anime, Nezbitt’s deck also contained Clockwork Night.
This is one of the cards in Supreme Darkness which has a Quarter Century Secret Rare version. On top of that, the card’s multiple allusions to the Yu-Gi-Oh anime are likely to attract those who got into the Yu-Gi-Oh TCG by way of the anime.
