It’s now been five years since the previously long-awaited debut of the Pokémon TCG in Taiwan and Hong Kong. To honor this milestone, the 5th Anniversary Premium Card Set will be released in Taiwan and Hong Kong on 25 October 2024.

About the 5th Anniversary Premium Card Set

The 5th Anniversary Premium Card Set is intended to include elements from the seventh, eighth, and ninth generations of Pokémon. The set’s main box includes cards from these three most recent generations including promotional cards; all cards will display the logo of the 5th Anniversary Premium Card Set.

Also included in the 5th Anniversary Premium Card Set will be a Traditional Chinese booster box containing cards from Supercharged Breaker [SV8]. There’ll also be an array of merchandise thrown in; these include a deck sleeve, deck box, card storage box, and keychain.

Finally, the 5th Anniversary Premium Card Set will contain a promotional Pikachu card that’s never been released anywhere else. There hasn’t been any word on whether this card will ever be launched outside Taiwan and Hong Kong.

Release Details

The 5th Anniversary Premium Card Set will only be released in Traditional Chinese.

The price of the 5th Anniversary Premium Card Set will be NT$2,800 (~US$87) in Taiwan and HK$680 (~US$88) in Hong Kong.
