To promote Stellar Crown [SCR], the latest Pokémon TCG set to be released internationally, YouTube channel Geek & Sundry will air The Pokémon Trading Card Game: Scarlet & Violet—Stellar Crown Showdown, a three-episode mini-series. The first episode premiered on 24 September 2024.

In all three episodes, a celebrity guest will play a Pokémon TCG game against host Alison Mattingly while discussing details of their careers and personal lives just as any other celebrity interview would go. The celebrities involved will also be asked about their own love of Pokémon; all three of them are known Pokémon fans.

The debut episode featured Terry Crews and aired on 24 September at 12PM (PDT). The second episode will premiere on 1 October at 12PM (PDT) and feature Jacob Batalon, while the third and final episode is slated for 8 October, 12PM (PDT) and will feature Abigail Breslin.

The mini-series also has a tie-in with Pokémon TCG Live. By entering the code “GeekAndSundryStellar”, a Pokémon TCG Live player can redeem three packs of cards from Stellar Crown [SCR].
