Every card in the recently-released Yu-Gi-Oh TCG set Complete File: Story of White is related to the Fallen of Albaz story. According to the in-universe lore, Blazing Cartesia, the Virtuous was the form that Incredible Ecclesia, the Virtuous took on after being reborn having been sacrificed as part of a Dogmatika ritual; Cartesia would later fuse with Granguignol the Dusk Dragon in the climax of the story.

This card comes in the Quarter Century Secret Rare rarity created in honor of the 25th anniversary of the Yu-Gi-Oh TCG. In addition, the card is one of just five in its set which only comes in Quarter Century Secret Rare, making it a highly impressive card to land. The character’s status in the Yu-Gi-Oh lore will also appeal to those who are interested in the world-building elements of Yu-Gi-Oh.

This being a card that depicts a female character, it’s not surprising that it would be coveted by many, especially those in the main demographics of the TCG. Finally, this card comes with all-new artwork that wasn’t seen on either of the two prior prints of this card. It shows Blazing Cartesia, the Virtuous in clothing similar to those of Despia cards; the characters featured on Despia cards are also corrupted beings.
