[ONE PIECE Card Game] Trafalgar Law (The Three Captains [ST-10] ST10-001) [Release Date/Price/Where To Buy]
Pretty much everyone who plays the ONE PIECE Card Game even semi-seriously saw this card's ban coming.
The Trafalgar Law card from The Three Captains [ST-10] is one of two cards that BANDAI has just banned from ONE PIECE Card Game tournaments with effect from 1 September 2024. Ever since the launch of Two Legends [OP-08] in Japan and Asia-Pacific back in May, the Red/Purple Law deck has been dominating the metagame to such an extent that BANDAI had to step in and take action.
About Trafalgar Law (The Three Captains [ST-10] ST10-001)
Being a card that’s just been banned from tournament play, it’ll undoubtedly develop a notable reputation among the community, thus elevating its overall desirability to collectors and thus its value. On top of that, Law is among the most popular characters in the entire One Piece series; this fact further increases demand for this card.
The scarcity of this card is also set to increase. This is because BANDAI has confirmed that a new Red/Purple Law Leader card will subsequently be released to replace this card following its prohibition from tournament play. Therefore, this card is almost certain to never be reprinted; thus, it’s more likely to become substantially more valuable over time.
