[Update 15 Aug 2024] The last of the three card prices has now been confirmed. The DON!! card featuring a stylized manga rendition of Ado alongside Uta has a price of 30,000 JPY (~US$203).

[Update 13 Aug 2024] The prices of two of the ONE PIECE DAY ’24 promotional cards are now known. Both the promotional Monkey D. Luffy card originally from The Three Captains [ST-10] and the DON!! card featuring stylized manga renditions of the members of Gre4n Boyz sell for 9,000 JPY (~US$61) per card.

Ever since 2017, an annual event has been held in honor of One Piece Day—the day honoring the anniversary of the debut of the world’s best-selling manga series of all time. In 2024, the official ONE PIECE DAY ’24 event will take place at Makuhari Messe in Chiba on 10 and 11 August 2024. ONE PIECE Card Game enthusiasts attending the event will be pleased to know that three new cards await them there—two event-exclusives and one reprint with a ONE PIECE DAY ’24 theme.

The reprinted card is one of a Monkey D. Luffy card from The Three Captains [ST-10]. The ONE PIECE DAY ’24 logo can be seen on the left side of the card. The card will be distributed to all event attendees.

There will also be two event-exclusive DON!! cards—one for each of the event’s two days. Attendees on the first day will receive a special DON!! card featuring stylized manga versions of the members of rock band Gre4n Boyz, the headline live performer on that day.

Similarly, second-day attendees will also be able to pick up another event-exclusive DON!! card. The second day’s card also depicts a stylized manga version of the day’s headline act—Ado, who’s best known within the One Piece fandom as the singer on the soundtrack of One Piece Film: Red. For this reason, the card’s image depicts Ado alongside Uta, the character whose singing voice she provided. On both cards, the ONE PIECE DAY ’24 logo can also clearly be seen.

On both days of the event, there’ll also be a ONE PIECE Card Game booth open. There’ll also be a special stage presentation regarding the ONE PIECE Card Game on the events second day. The presentation will feature special guests whose identities are yet to be confirmed.

Once these cards hit the open market, expect them to be of major value owing to their exclusivity.
