The old-school gridiron shoe, the Nike Field General, is getting a fresh look for today’s streets, ditching the aluminum and orange for a stylish celebration of “London”.
The Field General “London” rocks a mix of hairy suede and canvas. Tan suede takes center stage on the mudguard, eyelets, and heel, while Baroque Brown tumbled leather adds a touch of class with the Swoosh and heel tab. The base is a clean cream canvas, while brown and yellow laces add a rugged vibe.
Upon closer inspection, there’s a “LDN” tag on the side, and even coordinates hidden inside the shoe. Plus, the insoles have a mysterious message about birds chirping. The finishing touch is a brown rubber sole that keeps the earthy and sophisticated look going strong.
The Nike Field General “London” hits stores and Nike.com this Fall 2024, priced at US$100.
