A Celebration of Togetherness: Unveiling the Asphaltgold x PUMA Palermo “Sedia”
Celebrate Italian gatherings in a suave manner.
Asphaltgold and PUMA return for another collaboration, this time celebrating Italian hospitality with the Palermo “Sedia”. Unlike their “Scopa” collab that paid homage to a classic card game, “Sedia”, which means “chair” in Italian, focuses on the environment where those games are often played—around a table with friends and family.
The shoe itself is a subtle homage to the iconic plastic monoblock chairs, where countless memories are made during casual gatherings. A debossed chair graphic adorns the tongue, with ribbed suede overlays mimicking the chair texture. Even hidden lyrics from a popular Italian children’s song translate to “Add a place at the table, there’s an extra friend coming.”
Crafted with a white canvas base, brown leather PUMA Formstrip, green sock liner, and a gum sole, the “Sedia” is a stylish reminder of the importance of togetherness.
The Asphaltgold x PUMA Palermo “Sedia” drops on 8 June exclusively at Asphaltgold.com, the Asphaltgold App, and select stores. The silhouette will retail for 129 EUR (~US$140).
