[Update 20 May 2024] The price of a Shrouded Fable [SFA] booster box has now been confirmed. To be known as the Shrouded Fable Booster Bundle, one box will contain six Shrouded Fable [SFA] booster packs, be sold at US$26.94 per box, and be launched on 6 September 2024.

This also means that during the period spanning 2 August to 5 September 2024, the only way to obtain cards from Shrouded Fable [SFA] will be to purchase one of the related products.

There’s now been official confirmation of the international Pokémon TCG expansion set which will be next to be out following Twilight Masquerade [TWM], which will launch on 22 May 2024. On 2 August 2024, Shrouded Fable [SFA] will be ready for purchase by Pokémon TCG enthusiasts outside Japan.

This set will contain English translations of cards from the upcoming Night Wanderer [SV6a] expansion set. Its name alludes to the fact that in The Teal Mask, one of the DLCs for the Pokémon Scarlet and Violet video games, the commonly held beliefs about Okidogi, Munkidori, and Fezandipiti—three of Kitakami’s Legendary Pokémon known collectively as the “Loyal Three”—were actually false all along as the trio were actually villains rather than heroes.

In addition to Okidogi ex, Munkidori ex, and Fezandipiti ex, another of the set’s headliners will be a Pecharunt ex card. This is because in the DLC, the Loyal Three were Mythical Pokémon Pecharunt’s underlings. Pecharunt used its poisonous chains to manipulate the Loyal Three into doing its bidding. Other featured cards will be a Revavroom ex card which has Terastallized into the Electric type as well as a Kingdra ex card.

While the exact number of cards in Shrouded Fable [SFA] hasn’t yet been confirmed, the provisional card breakdown is as such:

• More than 95 cards
• 3 ACE SPEC Trainer cards
• 5 Pokémon-ex
• 1 Tera Pokémon-ex—the aforementioned Electric-type Revavroom ex
• 15 illustration rare Pokémon
• 10 ultra rare cards including Pokémon-ex, Tera Pokémon-ex, and Supporter cards
• 5 special illustration rare Pokémon and Supporter cards
• 5 hyper rare gold etched cards

This set’s release date has been timed so that it will be tournament-legal in time for the 2024 Pokémon TCG World Championships in Honolulu, which will be held from 16 to 18 August.
