The Nike Air Zoom Spiridon Cage 2 had quite a year in 2020 with a series of collaborations with Stüssy. These monochrome releases quickly gained a cult following. Stüssy even created a hybrid shoe, the Air Zoom Spiridon KK, that combined the Spiridon Cage 2 sole with the Air Kukini upper.

After a limited release in 2020, Nike took the Spiridon Cage 2 off the market for nearly four years. However, it made a surprise comeback last month with a silver colorway. Now, the silhouette is returning, this time murdered out in “Triple Black”.

This all-black Spiridon Cage 2 features a dark color palette of Black, Anthracite, and Smoke Grey. It has a classic construction with a full mesh upper, glossy leather, and synthetic overlays. Nike branding is present throughout, including a retro “Zoom Air” logo on the insole.

Although an official release date for the Nike Air Zoom Spiridon Cage 2 “Triple Black” has yet to be announced, whispers suggest it’s expected to hit stores sometime in mid-2024. It comes with an RRP of US$170.
