The release of Cyber Judge [SV5M] saw the Future Paradox forms of all three Swords of Justice make their Pokémon TCG debuts—and all in the form of Pokémon-ex at that. One of them is this Iron Leaves ex card that comes in the rarity of Special Art Rare (SAR).

This card’s Full Art illustration depicts the futuristic descendant of Virizion in Area Zero—the home of all Paradox Pokémon according to the in-universe canon. To encapsulate its power and grace, Iron Leaves ex is shown leaping in an unspecified direction with the full moon clearly visible in the background.

Gameplay-wise, Iron Leaves ex’s Ability Rapid Vernier makes it a viable “pocket pick” in certain Future Box deck builds. This is because the Ability allows Iron Leaves ex to enter the Active spot as soon as it’s placed onto the player’s Bench. Iron Leaves ex can then take the other Pokémon’s Energy cards, potentially allowing it to deal 180 damage via its Prism Edge attack right off the bat.

This card’s English version is 203/162 in the Temporal Forces [TEF] set.

The price of an Iron Leaves ex (Cyber Judge [SV5M] 093/071) card is 2,500 JPY (~US$16).
