[Pokémon TCG] This Umbreon Card Is Another Line Art Banger Courtesy of Yu Nagaba (SV-P Promotional Cards 067/SV-P)
One of 10 line art cards that make up the Yu Nagaba x Pokémon Card Game collection.
Contemporary artist Yu Nagaba’s collaboration with Creatures Inc. yielded a total of 10 Pokémon TCG cards that today have become among the most desired by collectors. Those familiar with Nagaba’s artwork will not be surprised in the slightest to find that each of those cards’ illustrations are in his inimitable line art.
The 10 cards illustrated by Nagaba depict Eevee, Pikachu, and the eight Eeveelutions—including the promotional Umbreon card shown here. Further highlighting Nagaba’s collaboration, the right side of the card features a logo pointing to that fact.
The card’s line-art illustration of Umbreon features the Dark-type Pokémon primed to attack. In addition to the novelty of its unique status as both a collaborative card and a card that features a line-art illustration, this card depicts perhaps the single most popular Eeveelution among the eight of them. Of course, completionists will also be drawn to this card because they will seek it out in order to land every Yu Nagaba card.
This card was not released in English.
One copy of an Umbreon (SV-P Promotional Cards 067/SV-P) card goes for 6,500 JPY (~US$41).
