Kiko Kostadinov Revisits the ASICS GEL-QUANTUM ZIENTZIA
Arriving in two colorways, just one more than its debut last year.
The ASICS GEL-QUANTUM ZIENTZIA by Kiko Kostadinov has been confirmed for a sophomore release, succeeding last year’s singular “Black/Royal Blue” colorway. This news is ascertained by @kiko_kurative, a fan page that posted leaked images of the upcoming SS24 drop.
Therein, the GEL-QUANTUM ZIENTZIA appears in two stunning colorways. The first features the GEL-QUANTUM LEVITRACK’s cushioning unit and is doused in Deep Aquatic—a mesmerizing blend of blue shades on matte metallic overlays.
The next pair is dressed in Neon & Forest Green: A bold combination with neon green accents and forest green overlays, both sitting atop a black mesh base.
This Kiko-designed cushioning unit, developed at the ASICS Institute of Sport Science in Japan, has recently seen action in the inline GEL-QUANTUM Kinetic model. Albeit not an official collaboration, the KINETIC’s resemblance to the ZIENTZIA made it a fan favorite.
Information is scant but the Bulgarian-born British designer himself has hinted on his official Instagram account of a 10 May release. They’re likely an exclusive drop in Japan and on his website. Nevertheless, stay tuned for more details and images in the coming days!
