One of the main antagonists of the One Piece manga’s Whole Cake Island arc, Charlotte Katakuri is undoubtedly among the One Piece series’ most memorable villains. This fact is borne out by the results of countless character polls which have ranked him as the most popular antagonist thus far. Thus, it was no surprise that the Charlotte Katakuri card from the ONE PIECE Card Game booster pack Pillars of Strength [OP-03] ended up being one of the set’s biggest pulls.

The card’s image depicts one of the Big Mom Pirates’ commanders wielding Mogura, the trident he uses in conjunction with the powers of the Mochi-Mochi Fruit—Katakuri’s Devil Fruit. Katakuri is positioned in a way that emphasizes the ruffles around his collar, making him appear more intimidating, especially when combined with the angle at which he’s brandishing his trident.

The card’s black-and-white illustration serves to make Katakuri appear even more imposing. This is even more so when paired with the red streaks in the background. In addition to resembling the colors of Katakuri’s hair and tattoos, these red streaks almost look like blood coming from Mogura.
