Drake’s Exclusive Nike Air Jordan 20 PE Line Expands with Leaked Navy and White Colorways

A luxury swap: from Tuscan leather to gleaming patent gold.

[Update 15 Apr 2024] Platinum-selling artist Drake isn’t stopping with gold for his exclusive Nike Air Jordan 20 PE line. Leaked by English Sole, new navy and white colorways join the collection.

With only 8 pairs in existence, these Air Jordan 20 PEs are likely impossible to obtain, so hopes of owning a pair are slim. Stay tuned to SNKRDUNK Magazine for more news on future Drake collaborations.

Drake’s legacy with the Jumpman shines in a newly surfaced gold-centric Nike Air Jordan 20 PE from the 2010s, despite his recent shift towards Nike with the NOCTA Hot Step 2. This era produced a limited collection for the public, yet Drake received numerous personal editions. Among these rarities, a gold-dipped Air Jordan 20 PE stands out, showcasing a departure from the typical Drake x Air Jordan color schemes.

Unlike the publicly released “OVO” editions of the Air Jordan 8, 10, and 12, which featured a predominantly white and gold palette, this particular Player Exclusive flips the script. It champions a regal gold hue as its primary color, relegating the familiar platinum white to a supporting role.

The sneaker’s reflective champagne gold upper is complemented by touches of brown and sand across the sock liner and outsole, echoing the luxury and opulence often associated with Drake’s brand.

The Air Jordan 20’s signature design elements, including the intricately patterned strap and detached ankle collar, are enveloped in this majestic gold tone, highlighting the sneaker’s unique aesthetics and Drake’s flamboyant taste.

While the exact release date of this PE remains a mystery, it’s speculated to align with the Air Jordan 20’s 2015 retro run. This shoe, like many PEs created for Drake, was not released to the general public but helps fans and sneaker enthusiasts grasp the creative process and inspirations behind the Drake x Air Jordan collaborations that were available for purchase.
