The version-exclusive rival character—and eventual Gym Leader—from The Isle of Armor, the first DLC of the Pokémon Sword and Shield video games, Poison-type specialist Klara quickly became a fan favorite. After all, female rival characters have always been popular among the fanbase in general—as such, it was no surprise that when she was featured on a Super Rare (SR) Pokémon TCG card in the Peerless Fighters [SV5a] set, it didn’t take long for mass demand for that card to arise.

In this Full Art illustration, Klara is placed in front of a blurred floral background. This is a direct allusion to her Normal League card from Pokémon Sword (Klara is not present in Pokémon Shield). In that image, Klara’s Galarian Slowbro was shown out of focus—the image on the League card is intended to be a selfie taken by Klara herself and later touched up.

Of course, most cards that depict female characters are much-coveted—especially Full Art cards such as this one. In addition, certain features pointing to Klara’s Pokémon type of choice are present. The ribbon on her headband resembles a Dustox’s wings while her other ribbons and bracelets appear similar to Skorupi and Drapion’s segments and markings—and these details are likely to impress serious Pokémon fans.

The English version of this card is card 217/190 in the Chilling Reign set.

The current retail price of a Klara (Peerless Fighters [S5a] 082/070) card is 29,800 JPY (~US$197).
