The .SWOOSH x Nike Air Force 1 Low “404 Error” Is Set To Arrive This April

Furthering Nike’s exploration of the metaverse.

[Update 17 Apr 2024] It seems that not one, but two pairs of .SWOOSH x Nike Air Force 1 Low “404 Error” are gearing up for release. Alongside the initially reported pair, a lenticular version will also join the lineup, slated to drop in Summer 2024 in a limited quantity of 404 pairs. Take a look at the official images in the gallery above as we await further updates on its release.

[Update 9 Apr 2024] The wait is almost over for the .SWOOSH x Nike Air Force 1 Low “404 Error”. The shoe is officially dropping on 23 April 2024 with a retail price of US$150. Cop them either on .SWOOSH or the Nike SNKRS app before they disappear off the grid.

Succeeding the release of the Air Force 1 Low “TINAJ” (This Is Not a JPEG) in October last year, Nike’s web3 platform, .SWOOSH unveils the “404 Error” Air Force 1 Low. Its innovative design bridges the gap between digital advancements and tangible sneaker culture, furthering Nike’s exploration of the metaverse.

.SWOOSH’s Air Force 1 Low adopts a minimalist approach, donning a striking Racer Blue patent upper that audaciously ditches the iconic profile Swooshes. The shoe cleverly integrates digital language into its physical design with the message “404 Error, the requested upper was not found. Try again.” nodding to its pedigree in the digital era.

The theme continues right down to the packaging: The Air Force 1 box is flipped inside-out and adorned with digital elements, complemented by a .SWOOSH sticker. Even the insoles get a techy touch with lines of code, adding a final layer of detail to its aesthetic.

A firm release date of the .SWOOSH x Nike Air Force 1 Low “404 Error” is yet to be disclosed but they are expected to go for US$150. Since the .SWOOSH platform hasn’t been availed globally, those interested can vie for the pair on the SNKRDUNK App where it’s already listed. Stay tuned! For now, enjoy the official images in the gallery above!
