When the Quarter Century Chronicle side:Pride Yu-Gi-Oh TCG booster pack was first released, one particular fact drew all eyes to it: the presence of the side:PRIDE Token Card. Just 1,000 copies of this card, randomly placed in ordinary packs, will ever be released. Already, some have stumbled across this card—and taken advantage of its extreme rarity by putting it up for sale for major cash.

The card is in and of itself extremely basic—it features an anonymous Duelist with the Yu-Gi-Oh TCG’s 25th anniversary logo placed beside. The card can’t be placed in a deck; it can only function as a Token or Counter.

However, the card does come with a serial code that can be used to apply for the Quarter Century Unity & Pride Campaign side:Pride. Anyone who uses this code to do so stands to receive Quarter Century Secret Rare copies of the Blue-Eyes White Dragon and Red-Eyes Black Dragon cards; both will come in a display case.

Unless the campaign is someday brought to the West, it’s unlikely that this card will ever be released in English.

Not surprisingly, a side:PRIDE (Quarter Century Chronicle side:Pride QCCP-JP000) card retails for a truly enormous fee—as of the latest updates, one of these sells for 400,000 JPY (~US$2,641)!
