[ONE PIECE Card Game] Flagship Battle Prize Cards Selling at a Remarkable Pace
The Flagship Battle prize card versions of Roronoa Zoro and Dracule Mihawk are likely harbingers of things to come as far as sales trends are concerned.
The hottest trends in the ONE PIECE Card Game right now are cards originally distributed as prizes for winners of Flagship Battle tournaments. Despite their lofty price tags, these cards have recently been outselling just about every other ONE PIECE Card Game card—and by a wide margin, too.
For example, data taken from SNKRDUNK shows that one of the cards which recently sold tremendously well in Japan was the Parallel Art version of Dracule Mihawk from the Romance Dawn [OP-01] booster pack. This card was first awarded to winners of Flagship Battle tournaments from January to March 2024 and sells for 249,999 JPY (~US$1,652).
Similarly, another card with impressive recent sales was the Parallel Art version of Roronoa Zoro. Also originally from the Romance Dawn [OP-01] booster pack, winners of Flagship Battle tournaments from May to June 2023 were the first to receive this card. Its current sale price is 250,000 JPY (~US$1,652).
If current trends hold, expect more of the same in the coming months as the ONE PIECE Card Game community’s desire for these Flagship Battle prize cards continues to grow. Those who own such cards might also find it a good time to make some serious cash by selling or reselling them to a hungry market.
