In honor of the 25th anniversary of the Yu-Gi-Oh TCG, selected cards were released with the newly-created rarity of “Quarter Century Secret Rare”. The Diabellze the Original Sinkeeper card from the Legacy of Destruction Core Booster is among these cards.

The logo denoting this card’s status as a 25th anniversary special can be faintly seen in the text portion of the card. The card’s striking illustration adds to its appeal among collectors.

This card is also notable for its gameplay utility. After being Special Summoned once a Sinful Spoils card is in the player’s Graveyard, this card prevents the opponent from activating any Spell or Trap cards that haven’t been Set. Often, a Diabellze the Original Sinkeeper card will be part of a Pendulum Summon deck.

The Diabellze of the Original Sin card is intended to be a counterpart of the Diabellstar the Black Witch card that was first released in the Age of Overlord Core Booster.

This card will be released in English on 25 April 2024 with the rest of the Legacy of Destruction Core Booster.

The Quarter Century Secret Rare version of the Diabellze the Original Sinkeeper (Legacy of Destruction LEDE-JP012) card has a price of ¥14,800 (~US$101).
