Every release in the Premium Collection series of the Pokémon Trading Card Game (TCG) is always highly-anticipated; this next one will be no exception. The Armarouge ex Premium Collection, slated for an international-only release, comes with a variety of features and freebies that so far aren’t obtainable in any other way.

To be released on 19 April 2024, the Armarouge ex Premium Collection’s titular card is an etched-foil reprint of the card from the Ancient Roar [SV4K] expansion in Japan and the Paradox Rift [PAR] expansion internationally. The Premium Collection version features artwork that hasn’t been released anywhere else in the world.

The collection also includes two foil promo cards: Charcadet and Ceruledge. Both are foil reprints of existing cards. The Charcadet card, like its evolution after which the collection is named, made its debut in Ancient Roar [SV4K]. Ceruledge, meanwhile, was first released as part of the Clay Burst [SV2D] expansion in Japan and the Paldea Evolved [PAL] expansion elsewhere.

Both serious players and collectors will be pleased to know that the collection comes with six booster packs. Whether seeking to augment a deck or expand a collection, the booster packs ensure that there’ll be something for everyone who buys this collection.

Other goodies thrown in include a magnetic card protector with a display base, a code card for Pokémon TCG Live, and 65 card sleeves displaying artwork of Armarouge and Ceruledge. The artwork portrayed on the sleeves was first shown in Pokémon Centers across Japan on 1 December 2023 in conjunction with the release of the Shiny Treasure ex [SV4a] expansion set.
