New Balance’s TOKYO DESIGN STUDIO and Snow Peak Release The Niobium Concept 3
Engineered to keep you warm and wild in winter wonderland.
[Update 2 Jan 2024] The Snow Peak x New Balance Niobium C_3 was released earlier in Japan last month. With winter well underway, a wider release has been scheduled for 5 December on New Balance‘s website. Set aside US$299.99 and get yours!
New Balance’s TOKYO DESIGN STUDIO and Japanese outdoor gear specialist Snow Peak reunite, and this time, for a pair that’ll conquer even the iciest peaks.
Introducing: the “Niobium Concept 3 (N_C3)”, their fifth collaboration. It’s a marriage of Snow Peak’s battle-tested outdoor expertise and New Balance’s 117-year shoemaking pedigree.
The N_C3’s sole, drawing inspiration from the legendary MT580 trail runner, boasts stability and grip thanks to the “ROLLBAR” technology and Vibram outsole. The eVent outer shell, in a white and grey finish, shields you from the elements, while the removable PRIMALOFT® inner boot is adorned with tie-dye prints reminiscent of the winter skies.
If the TDS × Snow Peak N_C3 is something you need in your winter rotation, the pair drops in advance in Japan on 8 December for 49,500 JPY (~US$330), exclusively on New Balance Japan.
So, grab your friends, dust off your skis, and get ready to experience winter wonderland in true TOKYO DESIGN STUDIO x Snow Peak fashion.
