Nike and Jordan Brand, as they’ve done every year, have unveiled their “Year of the Dragon” collection for Chinese New Year 2024. The two crown jewels being the Nike Air Jordan 1 Low OG “Year of the Dragon” and the titular SE edition.

This special release is a celebration of cultural richness. The objet d’art features a Sail leather base, juxtaposed against Dark Team Red overlays. Metallic Gold Swooshes imbue the pair with a regal flair, added on to by the golden Jumpman and Jordan Wings embroidery dancing across the tongues and heels.

Lest we forget, the commemorative motifs. One is the specially designed ornament hang tags that adorn each shoe, the insignia imprinted on the insoles as well. The final flourish comes in the form of the Jordan-branded red envelope that will come with the shoes—a symbol of good luck and prosperity in Chinese New Year.

Similar to the rest of the CNY 2024 collection, the Nike Air Jordan 1 Low SE “Year of the Dragon” will be released on 24 January 2024 with an RRP of US$125. Till then, enjoy the official images in the gallery above!
