With collaborations such as Jacquemus and Patta, along with the previously mentioned “Royal Blue” Big Bubble variation already in the pipeline, the Nike Air Max 1 is poised to have a big 2024. Now, joining them in the production line comes this GS exclusive, one that’s sure to stand out from the rest.

The Nike GS Air Max 1 “Obsidian Royal” is, for the most part, faithful to the traditional. A mesh inner layer sits on the base of the upper, while tumbled leather and suede line the overlays. What makes this colorway stand out though is the presence of metallic detailing all around the mudguard and heel, giving it a new vibe despite retaining most of its common elements. The design is rounded off with pops of Green Strike hitting the visible Air unit as well as the top eyestays.

While no release date has been confirmed for this upcoming Nike GS Air Max 1 “Obsidian Royal”, do expect to find it at Nike and select retailers somewhere in the Spring 2024 season. The RRP should be around US$105.
